I would recommend Posterous, which I started using after Leo tweeted about it.

I recently visited the states from the UK for my 10th wedding anniversary, we went all over the place in 2 weeks (NYC, Grand Canyon, Vegas, San Francisco) and I didn't want to get bogged down trying to post videos home. All I needed was my posterous account and an iPhone.

As a result, I could send pics and videos within seconds, which people at home could follow.

I posted it all at http://billyash.posterous.com

In summary:
Posterous = Good
USA Trip = Good
iPhone = Good
