Does these glasses make me look nerdy? Naaah... (I just don't see 3D TV become a smash hit)

3d = useless tech that I will never be able to use. (that is no joke 3d dont work for me.) I dont see a point if you have to keep wearing those nerdy stupid looking glasses. Wheres a glasses designer when you need them?
Tom Owens
I agree with most everyone that was at CES 3d just won't take off unless they find a way to get rid of the glasses.

3D also won't work for those of us with no depth perception (like me). I'm nearsighted in one eye, farsighted in the other.

Those glasses instantly make you look like your in a 80' pop video..

3D might catch on in the home with passive glasses like they use in the theater, but for sure not with active glasses.

Although i agree that the glasses are horrible, I must ask: what is the difference between looking nerdy at home and looking nerdy in a theatre? Didn't YOU watch Avatar in 3D? Just a thought.

OK? I have had enough of the next new thing.By the time so called 3d gets to most people it will be time to replace it with the next new thing that only very wealthy people can afford. You go out and buy a 3d thing for $3000 and you have to remember to make sure all your kids have glasses!Stop pushing this junk on us!These are toys period.Ger
